A series of steel framed pavilions for living, eating and sleeping are surrounded by national park on a dramatic headland site. Internal and external bridges invite exploration, revealing and framing the beautiful surrounds, fulfilling the client's brief for a private and individual retreat.

A moody, compelling slab of reflection, the black lap pool points north towards the horizon and ocean views. Different materials and textures have been employed to contrast and complement the surrounding environs.
